Abyss - Original Character Concept & Design

Abyss is a comic-book style character who takes the "it's all in your mind" theory of being to it's furthest limit. Of course, the whole character concept was an attempt to scale down the scope and reach of my primary avatar, Avonlea, to something normal consumers would be able to digest. Since the only part of "Abyss" that Avonlea's story does not encompass is the "super hero" context, it's kind of tempting to explore this comic book independent of her story, giving it an audience of its own. That assumes I'd be able to publish and make a living from the work, to keep it going.
