Venture Forth

A DDO inspired illustration, when I first started playing, I'd stop occasionally to take a screenshot when the mood took me. I had the idea that some of them would make great paintings. Of course, it took a while to find time to actually try it. For this, I tried to stick with the composition and general look and feel of the original screenshot. I ended up changing the look of Avonlea's armor, as I tried to bring the level of detail up to what I had in the background work.

I would have loved to have done this for DDO, and I did it as an example of my work on a professional level; something to put in my portfolio and use to find work doing this on a daily basis. For now, I can make it available as a print. I am also posting the background by itself, with the animated gif and video progressions I made of the work, so enjoy!
