Tidal Sand - Dark/Wet

Since I posted my ocean rock face, I might as well share the sand I did before it. This is another substance drawn more from memories than recent research or reference. Some things just flit about the edge of my consciousness waiting for an opportunity to pop out, I guess. Because this is "tidal" sand, I added a water layer, with displacement in the height and normal. I included controls to alter the color blending and HSL; so I'm posting a lighter, less saturated version of the sand for contrast.

The color properties controls I added altered my default color, but changing the default blend mode got me back to my original color. Rendered in the same environment, to match lighting as well.

I found the second version and decided it was best to rebuild the sand ripples. This was the result.

This is as far as I got on my first pass. I think I did a bit more in a separate graph, though...
